Wheatgrass

Today I used my Green Star juicer to juice some wheatgrass.  I mixed the wheatgrass with carrots, apple, and a little fresh ginger.  I did manage to drink a glass of this wheatgrass mixture, but wheatgrass is definitely something you need to develop a taste for.  I can drink just about anything if I know it is healthy for me, but wheatgrass is a real challenge.  I found another “mixture” I can try some other day.  I will just have to find a combination that works well for me.  Wheatgrass has many, many health benefits but has a “unique” taste to it.  I had to have a crown replaced today, so have a very sore tooth with a temporary crown on it.  I get my permanent crown in two weeks.  It is a challenge to find something to eat, so today for lunch I had an avocado, a few slices of tomato, and some cooked winter squash.  I had an almond milk based chocolate shake this afternoon, my above mentioned wheatgrass combo before dinner, and then for dinner I made an Indian dahl and some steamed sweet potatoes and yams.  I did try to eat a little spinach salad, but my tooth was a little sensitive to eating that.  Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.
